    The Technology Incubation Program (TIP) would like to invite you to a learning and networking event for current and would-be CEOs of for-profit start-ups where we will discuss the keys to building a scalable business.

    Topics to be covered include: Financial and Funding Basics; Valuation of the Business; Dividing the Equity among the Founders; Use of Equity as Incentives; How to Find the Right Investors and Negotiate with them; Dealing with Lawyers and Other Professionals; and Other Common Issues Encountered by an Emerging Growth Business.

    After the presentation, you are invited to stay for networking and refreshments.
