  • 10/13 New Effort Report System Demo: For Faculty/PIs

The Office of the Vice President for Research, Sponsored Program Services invites Faculty, Researchers and other Principal Investigators to attend a ”How-To” demonstration on UConn’s new Effort Reporting and Commitments (ERC) application.  The new application will replace UConn’s current paper-based system.

It is anticipated that the first round of effort reports in the new electronic application will be generated and released in October 2015.  We have received excellent feedback and positive reviews from our faculty and administrative test groups, and we are very excited to release the new application to the University community.  The goal is that the new electronic effort reporting process will be easier, more convenient and more transparent for faculty and departments.

Faculty sessions are being scheduled for 30 minutes of slides/demonstration.  We will be available following the session for questions.  The session will cover how to review and route effort reports as well as provide an overview of basic application navigation and other functionality available through the system.

Provided below are the dates, times and locations where sessions will be held.  Additional sessions will be added, as needed.  To register, please click here.
