Sprint has deployed Network Vision, which consolidates networks and technologies into a single all-new, nationwide 3G and 4G LTE network. Network Vision will improve:
- reliability and coverage for 3G and 4G LTE
- voice call quality and faster data speeds
- device performance
If you are a Sprint user with an older device that cannot take advantage of Network Vision, Sprint is offering to update your device at little to no cost. UITS-Cellular Services will contact our customers who qualify and will assist you with updating your device. If you believe you are one of those targeted for updating your device, you may also reach out to UITS-Cellular Services by calling the UITS Help Desk at 486-4357, option 3, option 2 or send an email to: cellular@uconn.edu.
All targeted Sprint users should be updated before November 1, 2015.
