  • Internships available at the CCD

    The Center for Career Development (CCD) is looking to fill multiple Career Internship positions for the 2015-2016 academic year. A Career Intern (CI) holds a prestigious leadership and employment position that requires a significant amount of time, training, and dedication. Training will be provided to interns prior to the beginning of each semester to prepare for the following responsibilities:

     

    • Critique résumés for undergraduate students.
    • Present to student groups, organizations, and classes on career-related topics.

    • Participate in weekly staff meetings and trainings at the beginning of each academic semester. 

    • Work with full-time staff members on assignments and projects.
    • Disseminate accurate information to students regarding services and programs offered by the Center for Career Development.

    Job Requirements: Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills; exhibit self-confidence and a high level of professionalism, especially in the ability to educate and assist others; have the ability to work independently and on a team, and take initiative; display enthusiasm and a positive attitude; demonstrate the ability to work with a variety of personalities and populations; commit to working 10-15 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters. Students must also be available the week before Fall 2015 classes begin in order to participate in training.
