Are you interested in international human rights issues? Do you want to get experience with an international non-profit organization? Join the UConn Lawyers Without Borders Student Group! Our first meeting will be Wednesday, Feb. 4 at 7:30 pm in SU 416A.
UConn LWOB Student Group brings together students who are interested in human rights and international law. We engage directly with Lawyers Without Borders– an organization that provides legal aid to initiatives in the human rights and global capacity building sectors- supporting them through research assistance and events to raise awareness for their mission.
We have many exciting activities planned for this semester, including a research project about child labor cases, a talk with a lawyer from Lawyers Without Borders scheduled for February 18, a trip to a UN conference in NYC, and more!
