  • 10/30 High Tide: Fluidity in Women's Art Practice

    The Graduate Art History Society is honored to announce Dr. Anna Chave's lecture, "High Tide: Fluidity in Women's Art Practice." The event will be held in the Class of 1947 Lecture Hall at the Homer D Babbidge Library on Thursday October 30, 2014 at 4:00PM, and has been funded by the GAHS Established Scholars Program.

    Dr. Anna C. Chave is a professor of Art History at Queens College and the Graduate Center, City University of New York, and has also taught at Harvard and Yale universities. She has published many essays concerned with issues mainly with respect to 20th century art. Her subjects have ranged from early Picasso and O'Keeffe to Pollock and Wilke.
