  • 11/20 Psychological First Aid Training

Psychological First Aid is designed to provide immediate response that can reduce some of the long-term negative consequences of trauma.  This skill set will be relevant for ANYONE who would expect to have contact with survivors. That would include anyone with a basic knowledge of and responsibility for students. Psychological First Aid is not therapy, but is an immediate stabilization strategy, much like CPR.  Please consider equipping yourself with this essential training.

To be more to the point -  We need a battalion of individuals on this campus who will be prepared to respond. Please share with colleagues. We thank you for your continued compassionate care of our UConn Family, and ask you to consider taking this training. Details and presenter biography appear below.
