  • 10/26 The Furuya Sisters

    World-acclaimed performers, The Furuya, Sisters will be performing at the von der Mehden on Sunday, October 26th.  The sisters have performed worldwide—from the United States to the Czech Republic, from England to Spain, and from Austria to Hungary.  As child prodigies cellist Mimi and pianist Sakiko had their respective musical debuts at the age of eight, while violinist Harumi began her studies at the early age of two.  All three are graduates of Julliard and their original compositions are still performed at their alma mater.  On Sunday the sisters will be performing Piano Trios by Mozart, Kreisler and Mendelssohn.

    The concert begins at 3:00pm.  Tickets cost $40 at the door and $35 in advance.
