Physiology & Neurobiology, Biomedical Engineering, Psychology, and Pharmaceutical Sciences are happy to announce "Neuroscience at Storrs 2014," a seminar and forum for faculty, postdoctoral fellows, graduate and undergraduate students to meet, mingle, brainstorm and present their work. This year’s plenary speaker, Dr. Garret Stuber, will present, “Dissecting the Neural Circuits that Mediate Motivated Behavior.” In addition, graduate students will present with their latest results in short (3-5 min) “data blitz” talks. A poster session and a reception with a light food buffet will follow. Dr. Stuber’s groundbreaking and elegant body of work describing the circuit-level mechanisms underlying complex behavior will be broadly interesting to the neuroscience community here at UConn. The event is in Oak Hall room 101 and the associated area in that building. Download the flyer here.
