Walk to Prevent Suicide
Support the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention by participating in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk on October 11th at the UConn Campus in Storrs. Registration and check in begins at 9:30AM in front of the Jorgensen Theater, our walk starts at 10:45 AM. The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) is the leading national not-for-profit organization exclusively dedicated to understanding and preventing suicide through research, education and advocacy, and to reaching out to people with mental disorders and those impacted by suicide. A portion of what we raise through our local walks is used for local education and awareness programs.
