The UConn Pre-Vet Club is hosting its third annual Canine Cancer Walk on Saturday, October 11th, 2014. The walk will begin and end at the Horsebarn Hill Arena paved parking lot. The money raised will be donated to the Sprecher Institute of Comparative Cancer Research at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. At the end of the walk all dogs will be given a “doggy bag” to take home with them! This event will be rain or shine!
The suggested donation amount is $10 and you do not need a dog with you to come support our cause!
Registration begins on October 11th from 9:30-10:30 AM. The walk will begin at 11:00 AM.
A few rules for our furry friends: Dogs must be well-behaved, leashed at all times. Dogs must be up to date on rabies vaccinations. Please follow the route provided by the Pre-Vet club members during the walk.
