    REMINDER OF “A Conversation with Edmond Chibeau"
    TODAY from 5 to 6:30 pm
    At The Benton

    Edmond Chibeau, performance writer and communication professor at ECSU, will speak about the origin and development of "Farmerettes," a play he is writing about the Woman's Land Army that brought thousands of women from all walks of life into rural America to take over farm work after the men were called to wartime service. A staged reading of selected scenes from the play will follow his talk. The production is directed by Ellen Brodie and supported by a grant from CT Humanities.

    This program is presented in conjunction with the Benton's current exhibition, Victory is a Question of Stamina: Posters from the First World War.
