Active Minds and the UConn Suicide Prevention Committee invite you run with your friends, your family, and your fellow Huskies to raise awareness of mental health advocacy and suicide prevention on campus! Racers who pre-register will receive a t-shirt, goodie bag and excellent swag! The race will finish at the Cultural Explosion and Family Weekend BBQ on the CLAS Quad. Proceeds will support the education and prevention work of Active Minds at UConn and the UConn Suicide Prevention Committee.
When: Saturday, September 20, 2015, Race begins at 11:00 a.m.
Where: Start will be at Veteran’s Memorial/CLAS QUAD
Who: All are welcome! UConn Students, Families, Faculty, Staff and the Community!
Cost: UConn Students: $10 for pre-registration or day-of the race
Non-Students: $20 for pre-registration, $25 day of race (cash or check only please for same day registration).
*Non-students under 18 will need a parent or responsible adult to sign waiver for participation day of event.
