    Do you enjoy eating eggs?

    Are you interested in finding out if eggs are good for your health?

     

    Do you want to know more and participate in a study that provides eggs and oatmeal for breakfast?

     

    The Department of Nutritional Sciences 

     

    at the 

     

    University of Connecticut

     

    is seeking

     

    Healthy adult men and women to participate in an

    11-week diet intervention examining the effects of eggs for breakfast compared to an oatmeal-based breakfast

     

     

    Eligibility for the study requires men and women who are:

     

    • Between 18-30 years old

    • BMI 18.5-30

    • Blood pressure <140/90

    • No history of diabetes, liver disease, cancer, renal disease or heart disease

    • Not allergic to eggs or gluten

    • Willing to consume eggs and oatmeal daily

       

       

      Benefits for participation:

       

    • Free cholesterol testing and other lab results

    • Free eggs and oatmeal
