  • 8/22 One Plate, Two Plates Opens in the U

    One Plate, Two Plates: Fast Food Served Healthy & Fresh" makes its debut in the Student Union location next to Panda Express on Friday, August 22nd. Recognizing the need for a more expansive healthy choice menu, Dining Services has spent the summer developing menu items that include grain salads, vegetable wraps, and healthy tacos, to name just a few. Many of the items are either vegetarian, vegan and/or gluten free and made with local ingredients, when available. "One Plate, Two Plates" was conceived with the philosophy that our menu options will be made from non-processed foods. We realize that more individuals on campus are seeking out natural foods versus foods made with artificial ingredients and we hope that creating a menu based on preparing real food made daily from scratch will meet our community’s needs. Cash, Mastercard and Husky Bucks are accepted.
