Have you always been afraid of killing your tropical houseplants in your office or home? Not enough light? Did I over-water? Is it infected? Does it need a larger pot? Do I have a brown thumb and kill every plant I buy? UConn Blooms has heard all the questions, all the problems, and we have the answers!!
During this week, bring in that plant. Lets us check it out and give you an evaluation of its health and tell you what it needs to grow better. We'll examine the soil and foliage for any pests. If you feel it needs repotting, bring in a larger pot and for $4.00 we'll repot that plant, fertilize it, and give it any necessary "haircut." Sorry we don't make housecalls. However, if you can't make it here during the work day, we'll accept "walk-ins" on September 15 from 5:00 to 6:30, no appointment necessary.
We also have a large assortment of tropical houseplants to fit any size and enviornment in your office. Our cactus and succulent selection is "neglect" friendly. They just need sunlight!! Our Rosemary plants can give you that herbal fragrance. Whether it is for the counter top or floor, we've got the plants for you. Our cooler has a nice selection of fresh cut flowers for any vase.
Uconn Blooms is located in the Floriculture Building across from the yellow barn on Route 195. Parking is available in the spaces alongside our greenhouse driveway. We are open Monday through Friday from 10:30 AM to 5:00.
