    The Department of Administrative Services and Connecticut's Community College System are partners in providing a wide variety of cost-effective training opportunities to Connecticut State employees through the State In-service Training Program.  The colleges are offering several new essential business and leadership courses including:  Accounting II: Managerial and Cost Accounting; Feedback and Supervision Skills; Show Me the Money; Achieving and Maintaining Work/Life Balance; Communicating with Diplomacy and Tact; How to Approach Career Development for People Under 40; On-the-Job Empowerment: Project Management for Administrative Professionals; The Art of Personal and Professional Peak Performance; and The Art of Communication: Observing, Listening, Being Understood.  New technology courses include: Access 2013: Advanced Topics;  Administering Windows Server 2012; Database Concepts; Database Modeling; Introduction to Business and Systems Analysis; Introductory Techniques for Business and Systems Analysts; SCRUM Agile Project Management: Introduction; and VMWare vSphere 5.5 with ESXi and vCenter.

    The University administrative deadline for the submission of applications to Human Resources on AccessNow is Thursday, August 14, 2014.
