    Roper Center Graduate Research Assistant Opportunity (75%)

    Fall 2014 Semester

    Responsibilities (to be divided among this RA and our current RA):

    1. Assist with public opinion research and producing reports and media releases on salient issues to be released to journalists, scholars, political decision-makers, and posted on Roper Center website
    2. Assist with research on congressional elections (with a focus on 2014) or other academic subjects
    3. Assist with organizing events on and off campus, including media outreach
    4. Help supervise and mentor undergraduate RAs

     

    Qualifications:

    1. Intelligent, ambitious, professionally responsible
    2. Quantitative research skills, including SPSS and other statistical packages
    3. MS word, excel, powerpoint, etc.
    4. Good writing skills
    5. Good teaching skills
    6. Knowledge of public opinion or American politics
