Bring the whole family for an entertaining hour of fun on Saturday afternoon from 3-4 pm! This last summer Spotlight Story Hour features The Flying Ark — “a breezy, enthralling look at how wild animals are safely transported by air, with big, hilarious cartoon illustrations.” — Kirkus Reviews
Bet you didn't know that ...
Kangaroos are jittery travelers, whose wooden crates have padded ceilings, and when they got hot, kangaroos lick their armpits to cool down. How funny is that! Flamingoes travel in groups with their feet resting on soft, damp peat moss so their webs don't dry out and crack. Giraffes face backwards, and lions and leopards travel best in darkness.
