GREEK LIFE! Help us Recruit Donors!
The UConn Red Cross Club has created an exciting challenge for this year’s February blood drive! With HuskyTHON nearly upon us, the Red Cross Club wants a way to give to such a wonderful cause. In particular, we feel a special relationship to HuskyTHON because we know that many of the children have received blood transfusions from the American Red Cross. The two organizations both help support saving their lives. Throughout the week of the drive, the UConn Red Cross Club will be fundraising for HuskyTHON.
Our challenege to YOU is to help bring in blood donors! Whichever Fraternity or Sorority brings in the most donors, we will put the money that we fundraise toward that group’s HuskyTHON fundraising goal!
WHAT YOU NEED TO DO!:
- Have your friends/professors/coworkers/anyone you know! sign up for an appointment HERE to donate blood anytime from: Monday, February 3rd, 2014 until Friday, February 7th, 2014.
The drive will be open 11AM – 4:45PM each day.
- When your sponsored donor arrives at the drive, have them notify us that they are donating on your organization’s behalf. We will allow them to cast their vote for you!
- At the end of the week, we will announce how many donors each organization recruited for the drive.
- The fraternity or sorority with the most recruited blood donors will get the total amount fundraised that week added to their HuskyTHON team fundraising total :)
