The Collegiate Health Service Corps is a Community Outreach program and a division of Eastern Area Health Education Center (AHEC), which works with medically-underserved populations in the Willimantic area. CHSC student participants perform educational talks and assist with basic health screenings. The mission of this program is to expose undergraduate students to health careers through service learning experiences that promote culturally competent health promotion and disease prevention education to diverse local communities.
