You asked and we delivered. UITS released an update for the Android and iPhone myUConn app allowing students to check their class schedules – all from the comfort of their smartphone.
Students can log in with their NetID when accessing the My Schedule module, prompting a detailed list of registered classes for the semester. From here students can find course numbers, instructor information, class times, and building locations. For those unfamiliar with the UConn campus, clicking on the building location of any class automatically shows the location and address on an UConn Storrs map.
Other myUConn features to help you through the semester include:
Bus Tracking Service. See a bus approaching a scheduled stop using GPS technology, in real time. You can search stops either by bus line or by a particular stop. You can also view all bus routes in full screen and use the device’s touch screen to pinch and zoom for better detail.
Dining Menus. Curious what’s for dinner? Easily see what's on the menu at any of the dining locations on campus. All menus are broken down by the current week, so you can see what's going to be served on Monday or later in the week on Friday.
Campus Directory. Browse for email, telephone number, and mailing address of UConn faculty, staff, student, department, etc. Recent searches can be saved, people can be added to contact lists, and perform reverse searches using a telephone number.
UConn’s Current Course Catalog. Search by career and subject. Clicking a specific course details course credits, course description, needed prerequisites, and semester the course is typically offered. You can also bookmark courses as favorites to view later.
Interactive Maps. Never be lost again. With GPS services enabled on your phone, you can easily pinpoint where you are and where you’re going. Included in the module is also a fully searchable index of all UConn Storrs campus buildings and locations.
Live streams. Be in the know. Campus emergency alerts, WHUS 91.7 FM radio, and UConn Daily Digest are automatically routed to the myUConn app.
Student ID Finder. There’s a lot to remember as a student and it’s easy to forget the simple things. Like your Student Administration (SA) ID. But worry not! With your NetID and password, you can find your SA ID in seconds.
Student Resources. Campus phone numbers, links, and descriptions, which range anywhere from tutoring to employment opportunities to health services.
