Hello UConn Student Org Treasurers,
Due to continued efforts of the University to battle the coronavirus COVID–19, Student Activities Business Services (SABS) doors will remain unopened until further notice. We continue to work towards providing services that allow student organizations to run a fiscally sound organization in a remote environment.
Student organizations that have collected cash now have an option to deposit their funds through UConntact utilizing Marketplace. For example this can be utilized for the collection of money by an organization member that would have been deposited in person at Student Activities Business Services (SABS). This process will only be an option for depositing funds during the Spring 2020 semester and is available to organizations that are active and have an open account in SABS. The process of depositing previously collected checks and disbursing funds continues to be a work in progress, which we hope to have implemented within the next two weeks. Updates will be sent to all treasurers and posted to our website.
