Hi Everyone,
If you are interested in a prehealth career but feel that you don't belong to a "prehealth" club, United Against Inequities in Disease (UAID) is the organization for you! We are a student organization that revolves around ideas from our members to address the inequities in the community. Plus, we are always having leadership positions available. Currently, we are still looking for a Community Outreach Chair.
UAID is a chapter at UConn of the national UAID organization. We are a public health-oriented, service-based group that goes into local communities and makes a difference tailored to them.
We are meeting this Wednesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm in Monteith 113.
If you're not prehealth, you should still get involved with our organization if you are looking for ways to get community service hours or simply share an idea you want to implement.
