    In this session we will learn how discussion aids learning and engages students. Steps will be outlined to show how to create a purposeful plan for integrating discussion activities into your classes and how to effectively use prompts, questions, and supportive statements to encourage discussion which include all students. In addition, we will focus on strategies to mitigate student behavior and set productive guidelines.
