    Cards Against Education Ethics with Stephen T. Slota, PhD

    Bring your lunch--and an appetite to learn! Stephen Slota will share how he and colleagues are designing and testing a deck of 200 cards to promote dialog among future teachers about tough ethical issues in the education field. After playing a round of “Cards Against Education Ethics,” we will learn how game design and pedagogical principles combine to create meaningful learning experiences.

    Dr. Slota is an Assistant Professor in-Residence at the University of Connecticut with dual appointments to the Neag School of Education Department of Educational Psychology and School of Fine Arts Department of Digital Media & Design. He holds a PhD in Educational Psychology and has worked on a variety of game and instructional design projects.
