  • 3/30 You Can Too Stop Serious Bleeding, Learn Today

UConn Rescue is a student organization here at UConn that focuses on emergency medicine and emergency medical services (EMS). We spend a lot of our time preparing and providing high quality training classes to the greater university community.  These classes are open to the public, and anyone who registers.

We are fortunate to provide these classes at a fraction of the cost compared to outside companies and all our classes are held in the Benjamin Koons Hall building in the center of the UConn Storrs campus.

To date we have trained over 1,400 people in various classes and certifications.

All out instructors are certified Basic Life Support (BLS) instructors from the most recognized training agency, the American Heart Association.

We offer the following classes numerous times a semester at various times/days of the week to accomodate the busy college student's schedule.  To view all our offerings, prices, location and to register follow the link below.

We have a Stop the Bleed class, focused on stopping life threatening bleeding injuries, designed by the Department of Defense and American College of Surgeons, on Saturday March 30th from 12-2pm!  It's a free class and ends in a certificate! Join us!
