  • 12/6 Winter Warmth Drive- Dropoff Spot and Coffee

UConn Women's Center and the UConn PD are teaming up to bring additional dropoff opportunities for the Winter Warmth Drive. The UCPD Babbidge Library Substation will have a collection point for new and used warm clothing such as shirts, pants, jackets, sweaters, and warm accessories for women and children. Sheets, blankets, pillows, and towels are also needed! This additional collection point will be available during Study Break with a Cop on:

    Thursday, December 6     3pm-9pm

    Monday, December 10     3pm-9pm

    Tuesday, December 11    3pm-9pm

The UCPD Library Substation is located on the basement level in the Leisure Reading Lounge. Just follow the Study Break footsteps and the aroma of freshly brewed coffee.

Join us for free coffee, snacks and activites (and maybe a visit with Tildy the Outreach Dog) while you help make someone's winter a little warmer. If you can't make Study Break with a Cop in the Library, you can also drop in to the Women's Center this month and donate your cozy, comfy clothes and bedding to Holy Family Shelter in Willimantic! We are located on the 4th floor of the Student Union and are open Monday-Friday. We will be collecting donations from Monday, November 12th - Friday December 7th.

Give back this holiday season by bringing in a donation.
