Candidate Presentation - Dr. Pardeepinder Brar, Italian Rose Garlic Products, LLC
Please join us at 11 am in the Advanced Technology Laboratory Building (ATL) Room 109, for a presentation by the second candidate for the CAHNR Department of Extension food safety extension educator position. Dr. Brar has been asked to "describe the process she would go through to develop an Extension food safety program, including the engagement of stakeholders, regional partners and regulators; focusing first on the implementation of the Produce Safety Rule and addressing the needs of CT produce growers and then describing how she would expand the program over time to meet the training/technical assistance needs of other CT food processors and food preparers including institutions and consumers.
