  • 10/26 OPIM Innovate presents Wearable Tech Workshop

    Greetings!

Exciting news! OPIM Innovate is happy to announce a great opportunity for students and faculty that may be interested in learning about Wearable technology. We are offering a workshop this Friday, October 26th from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. All workshops will be held in the OPIM Research Lab, BUSN 391 and food and refreshments will be made available.

This session is an informative workshop for UConn faculty, staff, and students interested in learning about how to use sensors and small microcontrollers to create wearable technology. This will be an entirely hands-on workshop where presenters will show you how to build clothes and accessories that light up or make sound on a loop when you move, press a button or recieve a certain amount of light.

We will be providing additional resources for those who would like to learn more. There are only 25 spots available so please register now. Check out the other workshops we are offering this fall and sign up ahead of time to secure a spot.
