Exciting news! OPIM Innovate is happy to announce a great opportunity for students and faculty that may be interested in learning about Drone technology. We are offering a workshop this Friday, October 19th from 1:00PM - 3:00PM. All workshops will be held in the OPIM Research Lab, BUSN 391 and food and refreshments will be made available.
This session is an informative workshop for UConn faculty, staff, and students interested in learning about how drone technology is disrupting business today. This event is a collaboration between OPIM Innovate and Candoo Drones, the developers of a platform that connects drone operators with companies.
Presenters will discuss how Drones have disrupted a number of industries including insurance, logistics, medicine, and entertainment. This will lead us to a demonstration of different types of drones and how to fly them. We will be providing additional resources for those who would like to learn more. There are only 25 spots available so please register now. Check out the other workshops we are offering this fall and sign up ahead of time to secure a spot.
