  • 3/21 AGES Distinguished Lecture 2018 (Joseph Altonji)

    The Association of Graduate Economics Students (AGES) presents the Annual AGES Distinguished Lecture by Professor Joseph G. Altonji, Yale University on Wednesday March 21, 2018. The lecture will be held in the Dodd Center Konover Auditorium on campus from 3:30 PM to 5 PM. All faculty/staff, undergraduate and graduate students are invited to attend. Graduate students are also welcome to join Prof. Altonji for lunch at 12:30 PM in Oak 337.

    Prof. Altonji will speak on the recent research on undergarduate fields, graduate education and labor market outcomes.

    Joseph G. Altonji is the Thomas DeWitt Cuyler Professor of Economics at Yale University and a Research Associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research. He previously held faculty positions at Columbia and Northwestern and served as a visiting professor at Princeton and Harvard. He is an elected fellow of the Econometric Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Society of Labor Economists (currently President-Elect).
