Please start thinking about the person you would like to have recognized for going above and beyond with his/her outstanding work and dedication to his/her patients and colleagues.
Candidate Criteria:
Registered Nurses, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses and Nurse Practitioners may be nominated for recognition by their employers if they are involved in clinical practice, leadership, scholarship and/or education.
Nominees should have:
o Made a significant impact on patient care and/or the nursing profession;
o Gone "beyond the call" in a clearly illustrated scenario;
o Demonstrated excellence above what is normally expected;
o Shown commitment to the community served in a way that is significantly above the norm; or
o Achieved a life-long legacy in a particular arena.
NOTE: Each nominee is ranked based on the “should have” criteria noted above on a scale of 1-10, with 1= low and 10 = high. The better the nomination is written the better your nominee will score.
