Professor Marc Lalande is retiring from the University of Connecticut following a distinguished career as founding chair of the Department of Genetics and Developmental Biology (renamed to Genetics and Genome Sciences). He also spearheaded many important initiatives including the University’s efforts in human pluripotent stem cells and genomics.
Please join us at a reception on Wednesday, September 27, to honor Marc for his outstanding leadership and exemplary service to the University, and wish him a fond farewell. The reception will be held at UConn Health in the Academic Rotunda, 263 Farmington Avenue, Farmington, from 4:00-6:30 p.m., and is sponsored by the UConn School of Medicine and The Jackson Laboratory for Genomic Medicine.
