The UConn Health community will mark the 16th anniversary of the September 11th attacks on Monday, Sept. 11 at 12 noon in Keller Auditorium. |
The event will feature special remarks from Lt. Gov. Nancy Wyman along with UConn Health leadership and first responders. The ceremony will also include the UConn Health Honor Guard’s presentation of colors, a special poem reading by UConn Health Police Officer Susan Kassey, and a moment of silence to honor the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day including more than 400 first responders of firefighters, police officers, and healthcare professionals who died while trying to save others.
