Lincoln National Short Term Disability
Lincoln National Insurance is the newly authorized provider of affordable, comprehensive group Short Term Disability Insurance for State of Connecticut Employees. During the current Open Enrollment, coverage is guaranteed issue (you cannot be declined regardless of health issues), pays up to $1250 per week – not to exceed 70% of weekly income- tax free, and includes benefits for pregnancy. Premiums are waived while out on disability and coverage is portable. A representative will be available to UConn Healthemployees in the Main Hospital Cafeteria- Lobby 1 on Tuesday February 28th from 10:00am-2pm to provide additional information and complete enrollments.
