Veterans Day Observance
Join us on Thursday, November 10th to thank and honor all of those who have served, or currently serve in the military.
Location: Student Services Lobby Area, Main Floor, Academic Building
Date/ Time: Thursday, November 10th 12:30 p.m. –1:30 p.m. (updated time)
Wall of Fame: If you are an employee or student and would like to share your personal military experience for our Wall of Fame, please send a current photo (in your work uniform if applicable, i.e. Scrubs, White Coat etc.) as well as a photo from your Military Service. Provide a brief description of your current employment and your Military Experience (Branch of Military, Years of Service and Job). Send to Alison Valone Suhocki at ValoneSuhocki@uchc.edu
Sign a Card- Holidays for Heroes: Sign a Holiday greeting card for members of the military and veterans living in our communities.
Canned Food Drive: Consider contributing a canned good for the UConn Office of Veterans Affairs and Military Programs 4th Annual Care Package Drive. Collected items will be donated to shelters which provide housing, training, job placement, and other services to the homeless and those in need with a focus on veterans.
