The Committee on Interprofessional Excellence in Healthcare is hosting the second annual Interprofessional Education (IPE) Deans` Afternoon event on Friday, September 30, 2016. The purpose of the event is to introduce first year health professional students to the concept of interprofessional education and its importance in their current education and future careers.
This is an interactive interprofessional afternoon with approximately 450 students and 40 faculty and staff from the UConn Schools of Dental Medicine, Dietetics, Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy and Social Work. The event will be held across two campuses at UConn Health and UConn Storrs from 12pm-4pm.
