The Office for Diversity and Inclusion (ODI) in partnership with the Division of Student Affairs will be introducing RISE (Reaching Inclusive Excellence)- a diversity education program, to all first year students this August 2018. The program will be a 1.5 hour interactive workshop led by a co-facilitator team (Faculty/Staff/Graduate Student & Undergraduate Student).

The two day Train the Trainer sessions will be held in Storrs from 9am-4pm on:
1. July 17th and 18th
2. August 20th and 21st
3. August 22nd and 23rd
Facilitators would have to commit to attending ONE of the above 2-day Train the Trainer sessions and be available during the RISE (Reaching Inclusive Excellence)- a diversity education program time on Saturday August 25th from 6:30pm-8pm. Facilitators who are current residential students will be allowed to extend their housing in May or arrive early in August in order to attend the training sessions.
