Opioid Addiction Response Specialist (OARS) - VISTA National Service Member
Health360’s VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) Program is recruiting an Opioid Addiction Response Specialist (OARS) VISTA Member to help tackle Waterbury, CT’s opioid crisis.
During the fulltime VISTA service year, the OARS VISTA member will develop an Opioid Addiction Prevention Program, geared towards urban youth, that addresses upstream cause(s) of opioid addiction identified in a strategic planning process. The OARS VISTA member will build wide community awareness and support of the program and coordinate with universities to recruit health profession students to deliver the training to youth.
The program will increase the VISTA member’s educational and professional status by providing a vast amount of experience in the field.
