Career, Internship & Fellowship

  • 3/1 Mechanical Engineering Internship/Job Fair by ASME

The UConn Chapter of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers will be hosting a Career Night on Thursday, March 1st in Bousfield A106 from 6:30-8:00pm.  Many of the employers present are looking for candidates to fill their intern and full time positions.  This event is open to all students in mechanical engineering.

The ASME UConn career night will focus on companies around Connecticut that may not be able to make it to the larger university career fair, are small enough that they are unable to, or feel more comfortable in a more relaxed environment.  The format of the career night is: presentations by the company representives followed by time for students to interact one-on-one with the companies.  This is a great opportunity for those still looking for a position for this summer, those who are interested in the companies present, or those who simply want to network.

Meet and talk to representatives from companies around Connecticut such
    as these and more:
    - Belcan – Aerospace Design
    - EDAC Technologies – Aerospace Manufacturing
    - Gems Sensors – Sensor Manufacturing
    - Holo Krome – Fastener Design and Manufacturing
    - Quest Global – Aerospace Design
    - Stanadyne - Automotive Design and Manufacturing

    Pizza and soda is provided!

We look forward to seeing you then!
