10 months ago, we had to cancel our 2017 spring concert. At the time, it was one of the worst things that could have happened. Countless hours went into planning a show just to end up disappointing people and disappointing ourselves. Looking back now, it was one of the best things that could have happened. We left everything we knew about spring concert behind and started over. Our goal was to create a MOMENT, to create an EXPERIENCE that was unlike one you have seen at UConn. We wanted to create something ICONIC. Just two months away from that goal, we’re ready to start sharing it. This is not spring concert - this is so much more. We listened to your voices UConn and created something EPIC! We sat down solidified and broadened our mission statement:
“SUBOG Concert is an interactive student-based organization that promotes music culture and provides entertainment; through the process of hosting musical events to benefit the UConn community holistically.” Because of your help and voices….
UConn’s first ever UCONNIC Music Festival will be held Thursday April, 12th! All roads lead to the DOME! UCONNIC Music Festival will begin at 6pm. The Festival will be open to all undergraduate, regional, graduate students, and guest.
