GenUN UConn has some open spots left for our trip to the 2018 UNA-USA Global Engagement Summit at the UN Headquarters in New York next Friday, 2/23/18. This event is a conference through UNA-USA and the UN that will allow students to interact with world leaders and learn about how to advocate for human rights and related social issues. We will be traveling as a group to represent GenUN UConn, the only university chapter in Connecticut! Topics that will be discussed at this summit include peace and security, climate change, and rights of refugees. The conference will be a day-long event, and we will be leaving Storrs in the morning and returning later in the evening. There is a small transportation fee.
