Holy Family is looking for volunteers! Located in Willimantic, Holy Family is a homeless shelter primarily for women and children. Operating since 1989, the shelter plays an important role in serving the local community. Volunteers work hands-on at the shelter, assisting with the after-school program, interacting with the children, and completing chores related to cooking, cleaning, and general maintenance.
We are currently looking for volunteers who are available on Wednesdays, and this time includes transportation to and from the shelter, which is provided by UConn.
