Make this a Memorable Summer with a One-Week Volunteer Opportunity at Local Medical Camp!

Looking for something fun to do this summer while building your resume? Do you like working with youth and being a part of an ENERGETIC and ENTHUSIASTIC team? Are you looking to gain experience in the healthcare field or working with people with special health care needs?

If YES, then Camp Promise-East is looking for YOU!

Camp Promise-East (www.camppromise.org) is a one-week overnight camp that is provided free of charge for kids, teens, and adults with muscular dystrophy and select neuromuscular diseases. We believe all kids should get to experience the magic of camp, regardless of their medical needs or physical abilities. Our schedule is jam packed with theme days, pranks, costumes, summer fun, and activities that are 100% wheelchair accessible.

We are looking for mature, responsible and fun individuals to join our team! Available positions include working one-on-one with a camper as a counselor or on our program and logistics teams helping to organize and run camp activities and events. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals who are dedicated to giving back to their community and/or who are interested in a career in the healthcare field.

Come and learn more about Camp Promise on Wednesday, February 21st

Visit our informal information session from 4:30 pm-6:30 pm in the Class of 1947 Conference Room in the Homer Babbidge Library.  Grab a slice of free pizza and hear more about camp from our past volunteers and campers!
