    Summer 2018 Financial Aid

If you plan to take courses at UConn during the 2018 summer session and wish to be considered for financial aid, you must:

    • Enroll for summer courses; most forms of aid require that you enroll on at least a half time basis
    • Have completed a 2017-2018 FAFSA
    • Complete a summer financial aid application (available via the Student Administration System by March 21)

The Office of Student Financial Aid Services (OSFAS) expects to begin awarding financial aid for summer in April.  Please be aware that financial aid for the summer is limited, and is based on your remaining annual eligibility of Federal Pell Grant and Federal Direct Stafford Loan for the 2017-2018 Award Year.  Please note that other financing options, such as Federal Plus and Alternative loans are also available for the Summer.  Details can be found on our website at http://financialaid.uconn.edu/

    Summer 2018 Federal Work Study

Work study funds will be available to students who are registered as part-time and are financially eligible during the summer 2018 term.  If you are eligible for work study, an award will be offered to you.  If you are awarded work study, please take the following steps:

    • Log in to the Student Administration System and accept or decline your work study award

    • Secure a summer work study job and be placed on the work study payroll on or before Friday, June 1st
