“The purpose of Delta Phi Omega shall be to foster unity among South Asian women, build community awareness, and gain a greater understanding of oneself and others. The sorority aspires to instill leadership traits, excel in all academic endeavors, to encourage an active relationship between the sorority and its respective university, and shall do so with the utmost compassion, dignity, and fortitude.” Delta Phi Omega Sorority, Inc. (ΔΦΩ) is an organization that is dedicated to the pillars of Friendship, Respect, Loyalty, Sisterhood, and Honesty. We strive to embody these pillars in all of our endeavors and become future leaders who can truly make a difference in our communities. Not only do our sisters build lifelong and meaningful relationships with each other, but with the campus and the South Asian - American community that we serve as well. We are a unique and multifaceted group that highlights our diverse South Asian culture through participation in community and social-service projects. While we are a South Asian interest sorority, we are NOT South Asian exclusive, and we welcome girls from any background to join our organization.
Recruitment is the perfect opportunity to better acquaint yourselves with the sisters of Delta Phi Omega and our organization! During this time, we hope to show you the uniqueness of our organization, and how we blend the aspects of a cultural group, a Greek organization, and a philanthropic initiative into a one of a kind undergraduate experience. All events are free! To qualify for an interview, you must attend at least one informational, one service event, and one social event. Transportation to off campus locations will be provided. In the event of snow, events may be cancelled or postponed. Please fill out our interest form if interested.
