  • 2/15 Susanne Davis Reading at UConn Bookstore

    The University of Connecticut’s Creative Writing Program is pleased to announce that author Susanne Davis will read from her short story collection, The Appointed Hour (2017) for all who are interested on Thursday, February 15th, 2018. The reading will take place at 6:00 pm in the UConn Bookstore in Storrs Center.

    Susanne Davis is an alumna from the University of Connecticut and earned her M.F.A in Creative Writing and Fiction from the University of Iowa.

    Her short stories have been published in The Notre Dame Review, St. Petersburg Review, The Boston Annual Fiction Review, while her features have been published in The Business Record, The Cambridge Chronicle, and Harvard Magazine.

    Davis currently teaches creative writing at the University of Connecticut and Trinity College. She also owns Words on Fire Studio Workshops, a writing workshop program.

    The Creative Writing Program aims to introduce and engage both undergraduate and graduate students in various writing courses including fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, drama, screenwriting, and more. These courses are offered to students of all majors in order to engage and include all that are interested in joining this growing creative writing community at the University of Connecticut.

    The reading, co-sponsored by the UConn Creative Writing Program and the UConn Bookstore, is free and open to the public.
