At WHUS, UConn's student radio station, you have the opportunity to do play-by-play/color commentary for UConn sports. Call the action courtside at Gampel, up in the booth at the Rent, or on the road as you travel to cover away games. Whichever sports you enjoy (basketball, football, hockey, soccer, baseball, lacrosse, etc.), WHUS provides the opportunity for you to announce them.
The WHUS Sports Department will be holding a meeting open to all students interested in becoming an announcer, whether you're looking to make it a career or do it for fun. The meeting will be held at the WHUS radio station on the 4th floor of the Student Union on Wednesday, November 29th at 5:00 PM.
