  • Undergraduate Research Opportunity: Spring 2018

    Research Assistant (RA) positions available for organized and highly motivated undergraduates. The Cruess Lab comprises researchers united by behavioral medicine research evaluating personality, mental health, and interventions. The Cruess Lab is looking for individuals who have an interest in training on a study of mood and behavior, recruitment, and data management; RAs would work directly with Jaime Blackmon and Dr. Dean Cruess. The position is a one-semester commitment, with the potential to renew each semester, and will be 9 hours/week for 3 credits. Responsibilities will include:

    • Reading current literature and staying up-to-date on research protocol
    • Hands-on training during the semester
    • Recruiting participants for a research study
    • Data entry and management for a research study
    • Presentation of a research article during lab meeting 
    • Attendance at lab meetings throughout the semester
